Here’s block #9, I can’t believe there are only 3 more left. This has been a lot of fun.

Springfield Park – Doling Park

This was a really cool park, one of the older ones in Springfield.  It had a cave, a nice lake and a trail.

Here’s the second park we went to on Saturday.  Valley Mill ~ 4007 N. Farm Road 171.  This is another one that we will need to take the bikes back to and ride all around the lake.  It’s pretty too.

I am interested in the Springfield Parks, seeing what there is new to offer in Springfield that I haven’t seen before.

Here’s the first one, Lost Hill Park.  Here’s the picture from the web site. 

 

4705 N. Farm Road 151, it’s 132 acres.  Wasn’t really much there, a trail, that would be fun to ride bikes down (which we didn’t bring ours).  I thought the old barn was pretty. 

More Jelly Roll Blocks

Here are blocks 4-8.  I just finished 8 last night and was really pleased with how it turned out.  I really liked the “Love” fabric in this one.
